Chinook Salmon caught on a Tubefly8lb Chinook Salmon landed on the last days of the salmon season on the Waitaki. caught on a Chartreuse / sparkle Tubefly. I was absolutely stoked. Not many people land a salmon on a fly here. The local F&G officer commented that it was the only one this season that he has heard of. TCR #8 got a hammering trying to bring it back from the fast water
